Administrative procedures

Let's get started with the new week!

The German-language document you may find here!

Dear Readers, Dear Chancellor Merz,

Yesterday, I watched the news on Channel One, where you, the Chancellor, gave several reasons for changing the social citizen's income in an interview.

Of course, a country's social welfare system must not be abused, and of course work must be worthwhile. As Chancellor, you could be sure of the support of the majority of citizens and also gain sympathy by making euro 3 billion available for road construction at the same time!

In plain language, this means for the ‘lowest class’ of citizens: Anyone who does not respond to at least the fourth request from the relevant authorities will have their social citizen's income completely cancelled because, according to the Chancellor, it must be assumed that there is no need for the benefits provided by social citizen's income, as the person concerned can help themselves in other ways.

These social citizen's income sanctions are being rephrased and packaged as a reform package, although fortunately not all parties agree with this!

When I heard this reasoning, I immediately thought that hopefully no one receiving citizen's income would be lying in bed all day, for whatever reason, and unable to make their way to the authorities. Many of those affected simply cannot be humiliated any longer by the authorities, who are unable to offer them adequate help or work, but instead want them to work as unskilled labourers, or is that not the case?

Some of the people in this category are already broken or disabled, for which society and politics cannot be entirely blameless, so that going to the authorities or the employment office has become an imposition or humiliation for many of those affected.

Dear Chancellor Merz,

perhaps, as a representative of the state, one should assume that it is necessary to ascertain who the state is allowed to cut funding for and who it is not!

And if those currently responsible in the civil service are not really trying to find for these people reasonable and appropriate work that also gives something back to them, then you and your colleagues will get to know my person!
